APPLICATION REPORT

Flare Tip Lining- Rammed

Industry: Petrochemical

Description of Equipment: Two fabricated replacement sections of flare tip.

Problem: Flare tips must be lined with refractory to prevent metal erosion. There is no way to heat-cure conventional refractory for this application once the sections are erected.

Solution: Full-thickness Thermbond Refractory lining installed on SS-310 1" thick hex-mesh. Thermbond does not require a heat-cure thus solving the problem.
