Thermbond saved 8 to 12 hours on the start-up of the unit by not having to cure the refractory this was the first time using Thermbond 6P. Thanks.

Thermbond has really helped when we want to startup quickly. It typically takes about an entire day out of the dry-out procedure. Depending on the unit, an extra day of downtime could be very costly. For instance, when we brought down our DHT-K recently, the unit warm-up was 100F/hour. However, if we had made repairs with conventional refractory, the warmup rate would be limited to 50F/hour plus hold times.
