Stellar Materials was incorporated on May 1, 1990. Twenty years passed quickly and our refractory market expanded from our initial successes in the Aluminum and Metals industry to include loyal customers in Petroleum Refining, Power Generation, Waste Incineration, Rock Products and Cement. Today, our 80,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Whitmore Lake, Michigan is equipped with state-of-the-art robotic mixing and bagging equipment.

Stellar Materials, manufacturer of Thermbond Refractories is pleased to announce a new Formula product called Formula 28-S. Formula 28-S is a coating material that is mixed with Thermbond's Formula Activator. The dry material ships in a 38lb pail and uses two jugs of activator. The coating provides non wetting properties against molten aluminum and protects surfaces in furnaces against slags and ash build up. |

We're very pleased and proud to announce the opening of a brand new Stellar branch office in the United Arab Emirates to service the entire Middle East, as well as parts of Asia and Africa. The office operates under the name "Stellar Materials Middle East, FZE," and is being headed-up by our new sales manager for that territory, PM Sundaram in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. Sundaram reports directly to Marcel Grootveld, who has sales director responsibilities for all of Europe and the Middle East. |
